The application for the proposed demolition of workshop (Joinery) and construction of a three bedroomed dwelling with garage (resubmission), was presented by the Planning Officer.

 

During discussion of this item, representation in objection was received from Mr L Fleet and Mr M Arnold.

 

A vote was then taken, by way of a roll call.

 

The result of the vote was 3 For, 4 Against and 0 Abstentions.

 

RESOLVED – that the application be Deferred as Members were minded to refuse the application against the Planning Officer’s recommendation.

Minutes:

The application for the proposed new shared driveway access to highway to serve 29 & 31 Santon Way and creation of off street parking areas was presented by the Planning Officer.

 

During discussion of this item, representation in objection was read out by a Planning Officer on behalf of Mrs S Neate.

 

The Applicant’ Agent, Mr R Motram, then exercised his right to respond.

 

During the discussion of this application, Members requested an additional condition be added that the Turning Areas were to be constructed prior to the first use of the driveway.

 

A vote was then taken, by way of a roll call.

 

The result of the vote was 3 For, 4 Against and 0 Abstentions.

 

RESOLVED – that the application be Deferred as Members were minded to refuse the application against the Planning Officer’s recommendation.
