During discussion of this item, representations in objection were received from Mr P Lace, Mr J Whitaker, Mrs L Bell, Mrs S Lewis, Mrs D Shepherd,

Mr A Shepherd and Cllr J Nugent (Representing Beckermet with Thornhill Parish Council).

 

The Applicant’ Agent, Mr B Metcalf, then exercised his right to respond.

 

A vote was then taken, by way of a roll call.

 

The result of the vote was 5 For, 5 Against and 0 Abstentions.

The Chair then used her second and casting vote and it was:-

 

RESOLVED – that the application be Deferred as Members were minded to refuse the application against the Planning Officer’s recommendation.
