Minutes:

The application for the redevelopment and extension of the Millway building for restaurant, kitchen, café/restaurant, reception area; erection of octagon community assembly building; 13 no. residential units (including 4 no. accessible units); 4 no. vardo wagons, 12 airstream caravans; 2 ancillary toilet blocks; sculptures; warehouse; associated parking and infrastructure with ancillary facilities, was presented by the Planning Officer.

 

During discussion of this item, representation was received from the Applicant’s Agent, Mr R Adams.

A vote was then taken, by way of a roll call.

 

The result of the vote was 11 For, 0 Against and 0 Abstentions.

RESOLVED – that the application be Approved, subject to the following:

 

·        The removal of Condition 23.

 

·        The amendment of Condition 21 so that the obscure glazing relates to the Café/Restaurant only.

 

·        The addition of a new Condition regarding the Café/Restaurant fit out due to extraction requirements, etc.

 

·        Updating the documents and plans list relating to Condition 2.

Members received the Development Management Performance figures for the third quarter of 2020/21 (1st October 2020 – 31st December 2020) against the National Performance Indicators.

 

Following a pause to allow for any Member to indicate otherwise, it was

 

RESOLVED – that the Development Management Performance Monitoring report be noted and the Planning team be thanked for their hard work, particularly in the present time with Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
