Items for which the Press and Public will be excluded

To consider whether any items listed on the Agenda should be considered with the press and public excluded on the grounds that it is thought likely in a view of the business to be transacted that, there would be disclosure of confidential information in breach of an obligation of confidence or of exempt information as defined in the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.


The Chair moved and it was


RESOLVED:- that pursuant to the Local Government Act (Access to Information) Act 1985, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds of likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the Act.


As this was a virtual meeting, all those present, when asked, confirmed that there was nobody present who could hear or see the proceedings and that they were not recording the meeting.

Application for a Personal Licence - MJWD


Consideration was given to a request for a Personal Licence.


Representations from Cumbria Constabulary, the Applicant’s Solicitor and Applicant were taken into account.


The sub-committee retired at 2:30pm to considered their decision.


The meeting re-convened at 3:05pm and the Committee delivered their decision.


RESOLVED:- that the Sub-Committee, after hearing representations from the Applicant’s solicitor and the Objector granted the application for a personal licence.
