It was noted that the next meeting of the Executive would

be held on Tuesday 12^th July 2022 at 10:00am.

RESOLVED – that the press and public be excluded for the remaining items of business in view of the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of part 1 of the Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

This report explored the possibility of a commercial contract and the establishment of a CBC/Direct Cremation (Alliance) Partnership to meet additional current demand and generate sustainable annual revenue for the council.

The report provided the Executive with details of progress and performance against the Corporate Strategy 2020-2024 for Quarter Four of 2021-22.

The report provided the Executive with details of the assurance process of Town Deal business cases undertaken in line with the agreed Local Assurance Framework and in accordance with the Five Case Model. Independent appraisers have completed a Green Book appraisal of the business cases for all four schemes to provide the required assurance, for review and approval by the Board and the Accountable Body.

To consider a report seeking agreement from the Executive to the Summary Documents for Cleator Moor Town Deal for submission to DLUHC in line with the Heads of Terms commitment to complete business cases for the projects in the Cleator Moor Town Investment Plan (TIP) that are being taken forward and submit the Summary Documents within 12 months of the deal being agreed which is by 30^th June 2022.  DLUHC will then provide the agreed funding up to the maximum amount of £22.5M for the projects, provided that all conditions are met.

To receive and consider a report covering three specific and interrelated areas of activity regarding funding for the wider iSH programme.
